This LCD monitor is shown in the VESA video timing list by default, incorrect aspect ratio, dimensions, resolution and wrong H-Frequency/V-Frequency. Sax2 monitor database didn't have it listed under Acer. Initially, it was shown under VESA list but should have been under LCD.

Manually added and tweaked:H-Frequency: 31kHz-83kHz V-Frequency: 56-75Hz, Dimensions: Size: 20.0' Wide, 481(width) x 375(height)
openSUSE 11.1 default settings after installation showed '1280x1024' resolution. Reran SaX2 and selected '1680x1050'. Graphics card used: Nvidia GeForce 8600GTS

Update
Since the release of openSUSE 11.2, the monitor is now autodetected. It is listed under ACR rather than Acer. H-Frequency: 31kHz-83kHz and V-Frequency: 56-75Hz.

Asus MW221U 1680x1050 11.0 When Yast is asked to configure it as a generic 1680x1050 LCD, it accepts that input, but does NOT take it into account and pretends to give a 1600x1024 screen on the test screen, which gives fuzzy characters and screen distortion as well. Envision EN-780e 1024x768 10.0, 10.1 Refresh rate defaulted to 88Hz, max supported by monitor is 85. I didn't realize this, until over time the monitor was dying. First the display would jump from taking up the full screen to taking up more, or less than the full screen (the sides being expaded or cut off). Then one day, the monitor didn't work at all on this configuration, but did work under proper configuration.
LG F700B 1024x768 10.0 VertRefresh and HorizSync are incorrect, should be 50-160 for VertRefresh and 30-71 for HorizSync. Refresh rate is also incorrect, should be 85Hz for optimal 1024x768 resolution. I had to put # before 'UseModes 'Modes[0]' line in xorg.conf to fix refresh rate.
